WWE Reveals Replacement For Sheamus In Last Time Is Now Tournament (Spoiler)
Sheamus has been replaced in WWE’s Last Time Is Now Tournament.
The Last Time Is Now Tournament began earlier this month, featuring 16 men trying to be John Cena’s final opponent. Whoever wins the tournament will face Cena at Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13th in Washington, D.C.
In the tournament, Sheamus picked up a first-round win over fellow veteran Shinsuke Nakamura, but the tough Irishman was taken out of the tournament due to injury.
It was announced by WWE on social media, just a few hours before SmackDown in Denver, that Sheamus was removed from the tournament due to a shoulder injury.

The WWE SmackDown taping in Denver was a double taping due to the US Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday, November 27th, and WWE likely wanted to give their talent and staff a week off for the holiday.
In a match that will air on the November 28th edition of WWE SmackDown, LA Knight defeated The Miz in the Quarterfinals of the Last Time Is Now tournament, so Knight is moving on to the Semifinals.
As for The Miz, he already lost a match in the Last Time Is Now Tournament to Jey Uso, but he weaseled his way into the tournament again, only to lose for a second time.
Sheamus Competed In Huge Match On WWE Raw
The last match that Sheamus competed in was on the November 17th episode of Raw, when he teamed up with John Cena and Rey Mysterio to beat Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, and Dominik Mysterio in Cena’s last Raw appearance.
There’s no word yet on how seriously Sheamus is injured, but we all wish the future WWE Hall of Famer well in recovering from the injury.
