WWE Shares New Drew McIntyre Footage

Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre is making public appearances for WWE again after spending over two months out of the spotlight.

For the first time since WrestleMania 39 over two months ago, Drew McIntyre is back on WWE programming although at this point it’s only on social media.

It has been over two months since the news came out that former two-time WWE Champion Drew McIntyre might be unhappy in WWE. In addition to that, it has been revealed that Drew’s WWE contract expires in early 2024 with no reports of a new deal signed yet. That has led to some speculation that he could leave WWE when he’s a free agent, but the Scottish Warrior has yet to comment on that publicly.

There have been recent reports that WWE is hoping to use Drew McIntyre at their Money in the Bank Premium Live Event on Saturday, July 1st in London, England. It’s a logical spot for Drew to return since he’s from Scotland in the United Kingdom and the fans in England will give him a huge ovation when they see him.

Currently, Drew is in Berlin, Germany representing WWE at the Special Olympics World Games.

In the video below, Drew McIntyre was on hand to witness a Brazilian athlete named Marcelino receive a hearing instrument that allowed him to hear for the first time. It’s an incredible moment.

This video below sees Drew meeting the Special Olympics athletes from Great Britain, who were thrilled to see him there.

As for his WWE return to television, no date has been announced for when he might be back. However, Drew was drafted to the Raw brand in the recent WWE Draft after being a part of the Smackdown.

Going back to Raw may be the right spot for McIntyre since his two WWE Title reigns took place in 2020 when he was the top babyface on Raw.
