WWE Allegedly Setting Jade Cargill Up For Failure

Jade Cargill

Jade Cargill has been turning heads in WWE not just with her dominant in-ring presence, but with her bold persona.

Recently, she’s embraced a new on-screen identity, often channelling the look and energy of Storm from the X-Men universe during WWE appearances. The nod to the powerful superhero has caught attention, but some feel the company might be misusing her potential.

Bin Hamin Says WWE’s Booking Strategy for Jade Cargill Is All Wrong

On Vince Russo‘s podcast, veteran wrestler Bin Hamin didn’t hold back when analyzing WWE’s current direction with Cargill. He argued that the presentation is flashy but creatively flawed and could be setting her up to fall short of expectations.

“So now she [Cargill] gets to pretend that she’s that when she’s a thoroughbred human being, an easy person to make. She should be more over than Storm from X-Men who has to share the spotlight with the rest of them. The spotlight should be on Jade Cargill making a brand as a Serena Williams of wrestling.”

Hamin went on to stress that Jade Cargill needs a different kind of push, one that highlights her dominance without forcing her into deep waters too soon.

“And the fact that she’s even in there, that spot’s way too deep end in the pool for her. And you’re only setting her up to fail because it should be a series of two-minute squashes…to get there, to protect her. A Goldberg-level run. So, that’s huge mistakes.” [5:30 – 6:10]

The Queen of the Ring is scheduled to challenge Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam.
