WWE Selling Merchandise For Former AEW Star
WWE is selling merchandise for a new signing ahead of their debut.
After weeks and months of speculation, Penta became a free agent in early December after his AEW contract expired.
It had been an open secret for several months that Penta and his brother Rey Fenix wanted to leave the company, but the situation has been far from straightforward. Despite not being used on AEW television for a number of months, the company added time to Fenix’s deal, meaning he remains under contract and unable to leave.
This scuppered plans for the Lucha Bros to arrive in WWE together, but regardless, Penta is pushing on with his new adventure.
Penta To Debut On WWE Raw
Penta’s arrival in WWE has been teased with a series of vignettes across several weeks with the most recent on January 6th revealing his name.
On the same show, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce said he’d got the perfect opponent for Chad Gable who had demanded to face a Luchador. While the identity of Gable’s opponent wasn’t officially revealed, all signs point to it being Penta.
Ahead of Raw, fans can already buy Penta merchandise with t-shirts, masks and more, now available on WWEShop.com
