WWE Scrapped Huge Roman Reigns Plans After Seth Rollins’ Injury
WWE had to scrap a plan it had charted involving Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.
Rollins was the leader of The Vision at the time of his injury, which he suffered at Crown Jewel in October. As a result, he was written off by having Bron Breakker attack him on the subsequent RAW episode.
The initial design would have seen them compete multiple times, with him ultimately passing the baton to Breakker at SummerSlam 2026.
As revealed on a recent podcast of Self Made Pro, Roman Reigns would have been featured in an intense rivalry with The Vision, starting with The Brons before heading for Seth Rollins.
The plan was going to be, okay, now Roman is on Raw. He’s going to fight Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. He’s going to beat both Brons.
From there, he would win the Royal Rumble and beat Rollins for the title at WrestleMania, resulting in Breakker turning on the faction’s leader.
Roman Reigns wins the Royal Rumble, faces Seth Rollins, beats Seth Rollins, wins the championship. Then Bron was going to turn on Seth after Mania—like, ‘You’re out of The Vision. I run The Vision now.
Reigns would then start a feud with Bron Breakker, putting him over at SummerSlam 2026.
Either way, him and Roman were going to fight at next year’s SummerSlam, and Roman was going to put Bron Breakker over. That was the layout. But then Seth got injured.
WWE’s New Plan For Roman Reigns
The Survivor Series PLE did not end immediately after Roman Reigns’ team lost.
Instead WWE ran the segment a bit long, planting the seeds for the upcoming rivalries.
Due to Bron Breakker pinning CM Punk at WarGames, he would be challenging him for the title, the official announcement for which was made on the latest RAW episode.
CM Punk will defend his title against Bron Breakker on the January 5, 2026, episode of the red brand.
As for The Original Tribal Chief, he is expected to clash with Cody Rhodes, after the latter appeared confrontational after the cage match on Saturday.
