WWE Allegedly Scrapped Major Plans For The Rock
The Rock’s disappearance from WWE TV has urged several fans to raise questions about backstage issues. Were there backstage issues? Was the plan that The Brahma Bull would just disappear?
So, previously, Jonathan Coachman had accused The Rock of going AWOL.
Now, while the speculation has been that The Final Boss stepped away from creative due to backstage issues and tension, of course, WWE would never say it out loud.
WWE had to scrap plans for The Rock
On an episode of ‘The Coach and Bro‘ on Behind The Turnbuckle Studios, Coachman was asked about why he accused The Rock of going AWOL when he had announced that he was out in February.
To this, Coachman claimed that he still has friends working in the company, and he knows that major plans were scrapped. Otherwise, Dwayne Johnson was paid a hefty sum for being on TKO’s Board of Directors, and he did not make one tweet or post about WWE since that night.
I’m telling you right now, guys, that the original plan, I still have friends in the business. I still have friends who worked there. The original plan was not for Rock to show up and then disappear. Also, think about this. Have you seen The Rock who got paid $40 million to be on the Board of Directors? He hasn’t tweeted. He hasn’t said anything about the WWE since that night. He went on Pat McAfee one time. He went on the Kelces. The Kelces asked him about John Cena. I’m telling you right now, Vince, if the Kelces wouldn’t have asked him about John Cena, he wouldn’t have talked about the WWE at all.
Fans had expected The Final Boss to return to WWE at least once after Elimination Chamber to further the storyline of John Cena’s heel turn and agreeing to be the ‘Corporate Champion’. Since he did not return, the heel turn was determined to be a failure and a complete waste of time.
