WWE Scrapped Major Plans For 2 Ex-AEW Stars

Bray Wyatt WWE

WWE scrapped major plans to have two former AEW stars form a faction that would have been under the spell of Bray Wyatt.

The Wyatt Sicks have found success after capturing the WWE Tag Team Championship. Led by Uncle Howdy, the group carries on the legacy of Bray Wyatt, who tragically passed away in 2023, aged just 36.

But it seems Wyatt was originally meant to oversee two groups when he made his planned return to WWE TV, which sadly never ended up happening.

Karrion Kross & The Righteous Planned For WWE Faction

Speaking in a video released on his YouTube channel, where he discussed his WWE contract ending at length, Karrion Kross revealed he was meant to be part of an extension of the Wyatt Sicks alongside ex-AEW stars Vincent and Dutch before the passing of Bray Wyatt:

You know the Righteous? Dutch and Vinny? Bray wanted to start with the Sicks, but he wanted to expand, and one of his ideas was to have me, Vinny and Dutch as like, an extension of the Wyatt faction, he had a totally different name for it and everything. We were gonna be on another show, like Raw.

Jason Baker needs to write a book. He was Windham’s guy, like I would hear everything second and third hand. Jason could tell you more about it, if you ever get Jason Baker in for anything, talk to him about it. The stuff that they were ready to do together, like man.

Karrion Kross’ WWE contract has come to an end, and he has offered himself up for bookings outside of the company. The Righteous pairing of Vincent and Dutch brought their two-year stint in AEW and Ring of Honor to an end in May 2025.
