WWE Scrap Planned Match During Show
WWE was forced to cancel an advertised NXT match while the show was on the air as things exploded between those meant to be involved.
Prior to the 2nd of July edition of NXT a tag team match had been advertised pitting Tyriek Igwe & Tyson Dupont against Mark Coffey and Wolfgang of Gallus. However, that match wound up never taking place.
During the show, a backstage segment aired showing Coffey, Wolfgang, Igwe, and Dupont involved in a wild brawl in the WWE Performance Center. Vic Joseph later revealed on commentary that as a result of the fight, all four men were being checked over by WWE medical staff and the planned tag team match was cancelled.

What Else Happened On WWE NXT?
The final episode of NXT before Heatwave saw a contract signing between the four men who will face each other for the NXT Championship. Ethan Page, Shawn Spears, and Je’Von Evans will all challenge Trick Williams for his NXT Title on the show in Toronto.
After the contract was signed Page and Spears ended up being sent through two tables in the ring as Williams and Evans stood tall to end the show.
