WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event To Return In November
WWE is taking Saturday Night’s Main Event into new territory.
On August 20, WWE announced its first-ever Wrestlepalooza event, which is set to take place on September 20. The event will be the first PLE to air on ESPN after the start of WWE’s recently agreed new partnership was moved forward several months.
Following that announcement, it’s been reported via Wrestle Votes Radio that Saturday Night’s Main Event will be heading to the Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.
As noted in the report, this will mark the first time that a Premium Live Event or WWE special has been held in the state of Utah.
WWE Confirms Date For John Cena’s Final Match
The news comes after it was announced that John Cena’s final match will take place on December 13. There had been speculation that WWE was looking to move the match until later in the month to counter AEW Worlds End.
A press release noted that Saturday Night’s Main Event will now air on Peacock starting in November as part of a new “multi-year partnership.”
Saturday Night’s Main Event will stream in primetime exclusively on Peacock four times each year, featuring WWE’s top Superstars, rivalries, championship matches, and more.
Peacock will exclusively stream two nights of Saturday Night’s Main Events this year, with the first taking place on November 1. Additionally, Saturday Night’s Main Event on Dec. 13 will feature John Cena in his retirement match.
The WWE Network library will remain available on Peacock through the end of 2025, and NXT Premium Live Events will be available on Peacock until March 2026.
Despite the changes elsewhere, it’s been confirmed that all NXT PLEs will remain on Peacock moving forward.
At present, two NXT PLEs have been announced in the remainder of 2025, with Heatwave confirmed for August 24 and Worlds Collide on September 12. As was the case earlier in the year, the latter is a crossover event with AAA.
