WWE Royal Rumble Going International In 2026
One report has suggested there could be a seismic shift in WWE on the way and that the Royal Rumble could be heading out of the US in 2026.
The 2025 Royal Rumble will take place in Indianapolis, Indiana on February 1 as the road to WrestleMania in WWE begins in earnest.
So far, there are only three matches confirmed for the massive show with both the men’s and women’s Royal Rumble matches taking place alongside Cody Rhodes defending his WWE Championship in a ladder match against Kevin Owens.
The first SmackDown of 2025 saw LA Knight become the first star to declare their entry in the Rumble match with a place in the main event of WrestleMania 41 on the line.
WWE Royal Rumble Heading Abroad?
Now PWInsider has reported that WWE will be taking the Royal Rumble to Saudi Arabia in 2026. An announcement for that show could come as soon as the debut episode of Raw on Netflix on January 6.
If this does take place it will be the first time that the Royal Rumble has ever been held outside of North America and its first outing outside of the USA since becoming a pay-per-view.
WWE signed a ten-year deal with Saudi Arabia in 2018 to bring premium live events to the Middle East. The first one was held in April 2018 when the Greatest Royal Rumble took place with Braun Strowman winning a massive fifty-man Royal Rumble match which featured a varied cast of characters including Shane McMahon, The Great Khali, and Hornswoggle.
