WWE Star On Rhea Ripley: “She Just Couldn’t Keep Her Hands Off Me”

A WWE superstar had fun with a remark in response to Rhea Ripley dominating in the ring.

There was an interview with Damian Priest on the November 28th edition of WWE SmackDown. During the interview, Priest spoke about his rivalry with Aleister Black and how he had healed after Black threw a fireball at Priest’s eye.

Zelina, who is married to Black, interrupted Priest to say that Black has moved on to other things, noting that during the rivalry, Priest has been the one on the receiving end of punishment. Zelina said if Priest wanted more punishment, they would be happy to oblige, and we could see Black watching from the background.

After Vega left, Rhea Ripley walked in to hug her buddy Damian Priest. When he asked if she was ready for WarGames, Ripley said you know the answer to that. Ripley said she had to go help Charlotte Flair get ready for her WarGames Advantage match, but after that, she wanted to run an idea by Priest. Damian was looking forward to it.

Even though Ripley didn’t directly interact with Zelina, it got people talking on social media.

In response to a fan sharing a clip of Ripley hitting a Riptide and then doing a forward-leaning pin on Zelina, the sharp-witted Zelina responded: “She just couldn’t keep her hands off me.”

Rhea Ripley Ready To Work With Charlotte Flair In WarGames

At WWE Survivor Series: WarGames, Rhea Ripley will be part of a star-studded babyface team of former Women’s Champions that includes Charlotte Flair, Alexa Bliss, Iyo Sky, and AJ Lee in a WarGames match. That team will be opposed by the heel side consisting of Becky Lynch, Nia Jax, Lash Legend, Asuka and Kairi Sane.

In the build-up to WarGames, the history between Ripley and Flair has been a big story since Flair was reluctant to team with Ripley. The two women have faced off at multiple WrestleManias and other shows in the past, but they are both babyfaces now, and on the same team in the WarGames match.

As for why they had an issue in the first place, Rhea Ripley said her rivalry with Charlotte Flair is about proving who is the best.

“For now, we have settled our problems. We know that when I first came to Raw, I wanted to prove myself, and I wanted to be the best. And I had always looked up to someone like Charlotte Flair, and I knew that she was one of the top dogs, if not the top dog.

So I took a leap, and it was like a sink-or-swim situation. And obviously, Charlotte, being Charlotte, she fought back. So that’s where our beef pretty much started. And that’s the whole reason that we had beef was because we wanted to be the best, and we wanted to prove to everyone, not just ourselves and each other, but everyone that we were the best.”
