Why WWE’s Rhea Ripley Is Frustrated By Wrestling Fans

Rhea Ripley has taken to social media to vent about some of the opinions of wrestling fans who criticize women’s wrestlers.

The women’s division in WWE is thriving, as more female superstars are featured on Raw, SmackDown, and NXT than ever before.

A women’s tag team match main evented WWE NXT on May 13th as Stephanie Vaquer and Jordynne Grace beat Fatal Influence. It was the fourth straight week that a women’s match main evented NXT, which shows how deep the division is.

Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky won a women’s tag team main event on the May 12th edition of Raw, defeating Giulia and Roxanne Perez.

Less than one month ago, at WrestleMania 40, Iyo Sky beat Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair in a triple threat match for the Women’s World Title that some people call the best women’s match in WWE history.

Even though the division is seemingly going well, there are still fans who are negative toward women’s wrestlers on social media and other places.

Rhea Ripley Blasts Negative Wrestling Fans

At 28, Rhea Ripley has already accomplished a lot during her WWE career as a three-time Women’s Champion. She is already considered a leader in the division and will also be a big part of WWE’s future.

In a post on X, Rhea Ripley wrote about how some fans will say that “women deserve better” and then disparage the same wrestlers.

Women’s wrestling fan
– “women deserve better”

(Same breath)

– “she’s sleeping with her boss that’s why she’s where she is”
– “She should retire”
– “She doesn’t deserve it”
– “She’s handed everything and never worked for anything”
– “I hope she gets injured”

YOU guys are the real reason it’s so difficult to be taken seriously as a women’s wrestler.

If YOU put as much effort into your own miserable lives as you put into degrading successful women, then maybe you would accomplish something yourself.

After picking up a tag team win with Iyo Sky on Raw, Rhea Ripley looked at the Women’s World Title that Sky was holding and Ripley used to have.
