WWE Reveal New SummerSlam Logo

WrestleMania might be the talk of WWE at the moment but the train doesn’t stop and the company has unveiled a brand new logo for 2023’s SummerSlam and it’s in keeping with the host city of Detroit.

SummerSlam in 2022 saw the event get the first real logo overhaul in ten years as the company sought to represent the host city of Nashville, Tennessee – Music City – in the design.

At that event, Roman Reigns headlined against Brock Lesnar in a brutal Last Man Standing Match for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship with Lesnar driving a front-loading tractor to the ring.

While it will be many months before we know who will grace the ring inside Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan, the logo for the event has now been revealed by WWE and once again it pays homage to its home city’s nickname – Motor City and also showcases the colours of the city’s NFL team, the Detroit Lions.

WWE is currently promoting sign-ups to find out pre-sale information for when tickets go on sale for the event which will take place on August 5th. Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Charlotte Flair, Bianca Belair, and The Usos appear on the promotional page for the event although it is too early to say that all of them will definitely appear.
