Another WWE Return Confirmed For Wrestlepalooza After Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes will be at Wrestlepalooza.

The Undisputed WWE Champion has been absent from WWE since the August 8, 2025, edition of Friday Night SmackDown. Rhodes and John Cena teamed up on the show to take on Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul. The match ended in a disqualification after Paul hit Cena below the belt. Outside the ring, The Scottish Psychopath smacked Rhodes on the head with the title, and followed it up with a nasty Claymore Kick through the announcetable.

This attack angle allowed WWE to write Rhodes off TV for a few weeks. During this absence, The American Nightmare has been focusing on two major life events: filming the Street Fighter movie in Australia, where he plays Guile, and welcoming his second child with his wife, Brandi Rhodes.

Rhodes has missed quite a few SmackDown shows and the Clash in Paris PLE, but he’ll be back for Wrestlepalooza. Triple H recently confirmed on The Pat McAfee Show that Cody Rhodes will be present at WWE’s inaugural event on September 20, 2025, in Indianapolis. That said, another star also recently confirmed their presence at Wrestlepalooza.

Like Cody Rhodes, Jackie Redmond Will Also Be at Wrestlepalooza

Jackie Redmond is a sports broadcaster who works for WWE as a backstage correspondent and interviews for the Monday Night Raw brand. She was absent on the September 8 edition of WWE’s flagship show, which led the fans to question her absence. Responding to the fans’ queries, Redmond revealed that she’s on a two-week vacation but will return at Wrestlepalooza.

“My incredible amazing bosses at WWE have allowed me two weeks vacation before hockey starts and I have no life again. LOL. I return at WrestlePalooza! I’ve dusted off my Chuck Taylor’s and I have SO much to say. ☺️,” Jackie Redmond wrote.

Redmond’s excitement can be seen oozing out of her tweet as she’s clearly very eager to witness AJ Lee in action. On this week’s Monday Night RAW, The Geek Goddess and CM Punk challenged Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins for a mixed tag team match at the upcoming PLE. Lee is going to wrestle after almost a decade, and some people might be worried about her ring rust, but Triple H sure isn’t.
