A returning WWE superstar had a simple message on social media after coming back from a long layoff.

Over the last month, Solo Sikoa was featured in video packages on WWE SmackDown, discussing his MFT (My Family Tree) group, which includes JC Mateo, Tonga Loa, and Talla Tonga.

Since Solo lost the US Title to Sami Zayn, Solo has been focused on getting his title back, and in doing so, he knew he needed his MFT group to be full.

When WWE SmackDown headed to Perth, Australia, Sami Zayn defended the US Title in another open challenge. Shinsuke Nakamura answered that challenge, and he had a competitive match against Zayn.

After about 13 minutes, somebody in a mask attacked Nakamura and hit him with a clothesline for the disqualification finish. The masked man was Tama Tonga with white face paint. Tama was joined by My Family Tree’s Talla Tonga, JC Mateo, and Tonga Loa, and they attacked Zayn together. They all had white/black face paint.

Nakamura went back into the ring to try to save Zayn, but that didn’t work. Talla hit a boot to the face of Nakamura. Loa hit a clothesline on Zayn, and Mateo hit a Tour of The Islands slam on Zayn. Tama hit a running elbow smash on Nakamura. Solo Sikoa showed up with his group, and the fans were shouting, “F**k You, Solo” at them. Solo and the MFT’s stood over Zayn and Nakamura.

For Tama Tonga, it was his WWE return after about six months away since he had been off television before WrestleMania 41. Tama was out of action with an undisclosed injury.

Tama Tonga Addresses WWE Return

In a post on social media, Tama Tonga had a three-word message: “I am back.” He also added a photo of his menacing look with face paint.

In addition to their attack on Sami Zayn and Shinsuke Nakamura, the MFTs also had a staredown with the WWE Tag Team Champions, the Wyatt Sicks. It could be a sign that MFTs are going after the WWE Tag Team Titles.

Tama Tonga is a former Tag Team Champion with his brother Tonga Loa, so it’s possible they could go after the titles again, or a different combination could represent the group.
