WWE Report: Shinsuke Nakamura, Tye Dillinger & Andrade Almas Set for Main Roster Call-Up
NXT Superstars getting called up to the main roster immediatey following WrestleMania seems like it is becoming a new WWE tradition.
Last year there were plenty of NXT call-ups after WrestleMania 32, which included the likes of Baron Corbin and Enzo and Big Cass. This year there are reportedly three NXT Superstars that will be debuting on either Raw or Smackdown soon. Those three NXT Superstars are Shinsuke Nakamura, Tye Dillinger and Andrade “Cien” Almas, who all lost their matches this past weekend at NXT Takeover: Orlando. This is according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.
Meltzer speculated that The Revival will probably be called up soon too, but that the current word is for Nakamura, Dillinger and Almas to be on Raw or Smackdown soon.
In regards to Elias Samson who recently lost a “loser leaves NXT match” to Kassius Ohno, Meltzer mentions that Samson’s main roster debut will likely be delayed. It was thought that Samson would be on Raw or Smackdown soon considering he is no longer a part of NXT, but Meltzer thinks otherwise. Meltzer noted that Samson was apparently suppose to be on the main roster by this past January, but plans changed.
