WWE Referee Competes Under A New Name
A new WWE trademark has turned out to be for a very surprising talent as a referee has competed in the ring.
WWE filed to trademark several names recently that many believed were for a new influx of NXT talent who would be renamed. One name caught the eye of many as “Kalyx” was filed for and many thought it could be for a rebranding of popular NXT talent Sol Ruca whose real name is Calyx. But that’s not the case at all.
WWE Referee Gets In The Ring
Fightful Select has reported that the trademark filing for Kalyx is actually for main roster WWE referee Jessika Carr. Carr is said to have been a part of the recent Evolve tapings where she wrestled under a mask. Six episodes of Evolve are believed to have been taped and Carr worked a tag team match where she and her partner did not get a typical entrance and were already in the ring.
Prior to joining WWE, Jessika Carr competed on the independent circuit for six years mainly under the names Jessie Kaye and Kennadi Brink. She competed for one match in WWE on the NXT brand in 2017 where she lost in 90 seconds to Nikki Cross.
