WWE Raw Star Seen As “Potential Main Eventer”

WWE Raw Arena

Money In The Bank is on the horizon and one Raw star is being tipped for the match and even greater things in WWE.

For the first time ever, Money In The Bank will take place outside of the USA with the landmark show coming to The O2 Arena in London, England. This follows up on the success of the Clash at the Castle event WWE produced in Cardiff, Wales in September 2022.

WWE recently confirmed that qualification matches for the Money In The Bank ladder matches will take begin on the 29th of May edition of Raw and it seems like the company might have one star in mind for the match.

WRKD Wrestling has reported that Damian Priest is another name being considered for the men’s Money In The Bank match and that the star could have even greater things in his future:

“Damian Priest is another name currently planned for the upcoming Money in the Bank match. Priest has been mentioned in creative as a “potential main eventer” after putting on an incredibly well received match with Bad Bunny.”

Damian Priest played his role perfectly as the foil to Bad Bunny at Backlash in Puerto Rico. The rap star picked up the win over his WrestleMania 37 tag team partner in a hugely entertaining San Juan Street Fight.

Although Priest has not competed in a Money In The Bank match yet during his WWE career he has found success in a multi-man ladder match in NXT when he overcame Bronson Reed, Cameron Grimes, Velveteen Dream, and Johnny Gargano to become North American Champion.
