WWE Raw Star Out With “Undisclosed Injury”
A highly-rated WWE star is dealing with an injury.
At Worlds Collide, Chad Gable pushed El Hijo del Vikingo as he failed to win the AAA Mega Championship. Despite the loss, Gable was widely praised for his performance, with many suggesting it was a reminder of why he should be featured higher up the card in WWE.
During this period, he’s also been performing as El Grande Americano as a permanent fixture in the mid-card. However, it seems his momentum has come to a halt.
According to a new report from BodySlam.net, Gable is dealing with what was described as an “undisclosed injury.” There’s no word on how long Gable will be out of action or whether he’ll miss any time.
Gable’s most recent match came on June 17, where he defeated Berto to retain the WWE Speed Championship. The match was broadcast 24 hours later.
His backstage segment on the latest edition of Raw was meant as a way to write him off television.
Multiple WWE Stars Dealing With Injuries
The blow comes after it was confirmed that Liv Morgan will be out of action for around six months.
On the June 16 edition of Raw, Morgan suffered a dislocated shoulder during a match with Kairi Sane. In the days after the show, it was reported that Morgan would be forced to undergo surgery, despite WWE’s hopes she would be able to avoid it.
Meanwhile, it’s been announced that Dominik Mysterio will miss Night of Champions, and his match with AJ Styles is now off. On Raw, Mysterio noted that his ribs aren’t 100%, but the details around the injury remain unclear.
Back in May, Zoey Stark suffered a major knee injury during a match on Raw, and as a result, she’s expected to miss WrestleMania 42.
