WWE RAW Star Enters Concussion Protocol After Botched Spot With Nikki Bella

Nikki Bella launched a brutal attack on a WWE star on Monday Night RAW.

Last week, the WWE Hall of Famer made her return on the December 8 edition of RAW after her loss to Stephanie Vaquer at Survivor Series WarGames.

She confronted the Women’s World Champion on the show and demanded a rematch for the title.

But moments later, she was attacked by The Judgment Day’s Raquel Rodriguez, who wanted to face La Primera for the belt.

This week on RAW, Rodriguez got her match for the Women’s World Championship against Stephanie Vaquer. But Nikki Bella showed up to return the favor.

Nikki Bella Sent Raquel Rodriguez Crashing Through The Steel Steps

She attacked Vaquer and sent her through the steel post while Rodriguez ate up a nasty spot on the steel steps.

Nikki Bella botched the move and shoved the Judgment Day member so hard onto the steel steps that the latter developed a huge, nasty bump on her forehead.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez revealed Rodriguez was actually hurt pretty badly because of the brutal spot.

There have been no reports of her suffering a concussion, but WWE has put her under a concussion protocol anyway to be on the safe side.

Alvarez said:

Raquel got shoved into the steps. They didn’t show this, but she hit her head hard.

She got this giant goose egg on her head, so yeah, she’s in concussion protocol. That does not mean she has a concussion.

Anytime you get any sort of head injury and get a goose egg, they put you in concussion protocol just to make sure you’re okay.”

Because WWE has put Raquel under a protocol, she will only be able to wrestle again once she has passed all required evaluations.

Clearly, WWE is building a solid feud among Bella, Rodriguez, and Vaquer. It’d be interesting to see how this rivalry unfolds in the upcoming weeks.
