WWE RAW Spoilers For December 22
The World Champion CM Punk is in action on the December 22nd episode of WWE Monday Night Raw.
It’s the holiday season, and with Christmas coming this Thursday, December 25th, WWE decided to tape its main television shows early to give its talent and staff a bit of a break.
The December 19th episode of SmackDown was actually taped on the same day as the December 15th episode of Raw in Hershey, PA. For the December 22nd episode of Raw, they taped it on December 19th in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Here are the spoilers for what happens on the December 22nd episode of Monday Night Raw.
Match #1: Asuka defeated Rhea Ripley via a roll-up when IYO SKY came out to ringside and accidentally distracted Ripley.
Becky Lynch complained to the fans about how she lost the Women’s Intercontinental Title and how unfair it is. This led to Maxxine Dupri coming out and brawling with her. This led to Lynch tapping out again. It wasn’t an actual match.
Match #2:NXT’s Je’Von Evans defeated Rayo Americano.
Nikki Bella came out and cut a promo on top of the commentator’s table to set up a triple threat for the Women’s World Championship at the December 29th episode of RAW. That match will be Stephanie Vaquer defending the Women’s World Title vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Nikki Bella
Match #3:Bayley defeated Roxanne Perez. There was a disagreement between Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and Roxanne Perez at ringside, where they couldn’t agree on what they were doing.
Gunther did a promo calling John Cena a bi**h again. Most of the promo was hard to hear due to the amount of heat he was getting. CM Punk came out and had a staredown with Gunther, teasing a future match.
Match #4:Bronson Reed and Austin Theory defeated CM Punk and Rey Mysterio when Theory pinned Mysterio. The show ended with Bron Breakker standing on Punk’s head.
There will likely be some backstage scenes that will be added to the show that weren’t shown to the live crowd.
Thanks to Wrestlezone for the spoilers.
Big Matches Set For Final WWE Raw Of 2025 And First Raw Of 2026
It was announced weeks ago that there would be a huge WWE World Title match on the January 5th edition of Raw in Brooklyn when CM Punk defends the World Heavyweight Title against Bron Breakker since Breakker pinned Punk in the Men’s WarGames match at Survivor Series.
There are also big matches set for the final live Raw of the year on December 29th in Orlando.
- Women’s World Championship: Stephanie Vaquer vs. Raquel Rodriguez vs. Nikki Bella
- World Tag Team Championships: AJ Styles and Dragon Lee vs. The Usos (Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso)
Two title matches are official for the January 5th Raw in Brooklyn as well:
- World Heavyweight Championship: CM Punk vs. Bron Breakker
- Women’s Intercontinental Championship: Maxxine Dupri vs. Becky Lynch
On WWE Raw this past Monday, CM Punk warned Bron Breakker not to make this even more personal because Breakker mentioned Punk’s wife, AJ Lee, the previous week, and Punk obviously didn’t like that.
