WWE Raw Sees Streak Broken

WWE Raw Set

Cody Rhodes is on track for the biggest match of his career as he gets ready to face Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Title at WrestleMania 39 but on Raw, he had to get past the challenge of Solo Sikoa.

Since first appearing on the main roster when he helped Reigns defeat Drew McIntyre at Clash at the Castle, Solo Sikoa has avoided being pinned or submitted in matches. Sikoa has proved to be an impressive addition to The Bloodline and can boast victories over former world champions such as Sheamus, Dolph Ziggler, and Kevin Owens.

In the main event of Raw in Phoenix, Sikoa attempted to be the last line of Reigns’ defence ahead of WrestleMania as he took on Cody Rhodes. His older brothers, The Usos, came to ringside to attempt to turn the tide in favour of Sikoa but they were quickly countered by the presence of their own WrestleMania opponents Owens and Sami Zayn.

In the end, a Cross Rhodes was enough for The American Nightmare to keep his momentum going by picking up a huge win and ending Solo Sikoa’s WWE undefeated streak.

With The Bloodline’s enforcer dispatched Cody Rhodes now has only one thing to focus on, becoming the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion in Los Angeles on April 2nd.
