WWE Raw Sees Big Title Change

Things have changed massively in the tag team division on Monday Night Raw as two stars capture gold on the WWE main roster for the very first time.

There were two massive tag team title matches on the December 18 edition of Raw as both The Judgment Day and Chelsea Green & Piper Niven put their respective tag team championships on the line.

It was a big night for NXT call-ups as The Creed Brothers challenged Finn Balor and Damian Priest for the WWE Tag Team Championship while Kayden Carter and Katana Chance took on Chelsea Green and Piper Niven for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title.

Kayden Carter & Katana Chance Capture WWE Gold

Chelsea Green originally captured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title with Sonya Deville back on Raw in July but when Sonya Deville was taken out due to injury, Piper Niven replaced her to team with Green.

Green and Niven only had two successful title defences to their name before Carter and Chance managed to defeat them on Raw with Green losing the pin, giving both women their first main roster titles in WWE.

In the night’s main event, Priest and Balor saw off the challenge of The Creeds to continue their reign as WWE Tag Team Champions.
