WWE Raw Updates – Roman Reigns Giving Opportunity, Title Match Added

Roman Reigns is prepared to allow somebody an opportunity on WWE Monday Night Raw.

The ending of WWE Monday Night Raw on July 14th saw Roman Reigns make his triumphant return to television for the first time since losing at WrestleMania 41 three months earlier.

After getting a huge ovation from the crowd, Reigns went into the ring to beat up Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, while also staring at his former “Wise Man” Paul Heyman. Unfortunately for Reigns, Seth Rollins was out with a knee injury, so Reigns couldn’t attack him as well.

With SummerSlam less than two weeks away, Roman Reigns will be given a chance to speak on today’s sold-out Raw in Houston. It has been advertised as addressing Heyman.

On social media, Roman Reigns specifically mentioned Heyman.

Roman Reigns Promo And Women’s Tag Team Title Match Set For Raw

In addition to Roman Reigns addressing his issues with the WWE Hall of Famer, Paul Heyman, there will also be a Women’s Tag Team Title match on Raw.

Raw GM Adam Pearce announced on social media that Bayley & Lyra Valkyria will challenge Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez for the Women’s Tag Team Titles. Bayley was attacked prior to WrestleMania and missed the event, so now she’s finally getting a Women’s Tag Team Title shot with Valkyria.

Pearce also confirmed that a CM Punk promo will open the show.

Regarding Roman Reigns at SummerSlam, he is likely to face Bron Breakker in a singles match, or Reigns will team up with Jey Uso against Breakker and Bronson Reed. It could be made official on Raw tonight.
