WWE Raw Heading To Madison Square Garden
WWE has announced that Raw will return to Madison Square Garden on 10th March 2025.
The ‘World’s Most Famous Arena‘, situated in the heart of New York City, is often considered as WWE’s spiritual home and holds unparalleled historical significance to the company having been the site of many iconic moments over the years.
The legendary building has hosted WrestleMania on three occasions, including the inaugural event in 1985, amongst other famous moments including Hulk Hogan’s first WWE Championship win in 1984, the wedding of ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth in 1991 and the unmasking of Kane in 2003.
The company has continued to run Live Events at the building in recent years, but high production costs have seen a reduction in television and Premium Live Events hosted at the arena with the upcoming show marking the first WWE Raw to be held at MSG since 25th July 2022.
It will also mark the first WWE show to be televised from The Garden in the Netflix era, with the company set to make its debut on the streaming network on 6th January.
WWE Superstar Delights MSG Crowd
The company’s most recent Live Event came on 26th December during the WWE Live Holiday Tour.
On a night that saw Seth Rollins defeat Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan retain the WWE Women’s World Championship after pinning Iyo Sky, it was CM Punk who hit the headlines after hitting the ring at the end of the evening wearing just a shower cap and a towel.
Punk, who had defeated Ludwig Kaiser earlier in the night, made the save with Kaiser and Gunther attacking former World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest after the evening’s main event.
