WWE Raw Champion Reveals Where He Was During Wyatt Sicks Invasion

WWE Uncle Howdy Wyatt Sicks

A current champion on the WWE Raw brand avoided the massacre caused by the Wyatt Sicks group.

The main event match on WWE Raw from Corpus Christi, Texas saw Jey Uso beat Finn Balor and Rey Mysterio in a Money in the Bank Qualifying match, but that’s not what ended the show.

In the final five minutes of Raw, the brand new Wyatt Sicks group revealed themselves as they destroyed several backstage while holding up a lantern in tribute to the late, great Bray Wyatt. It was Uncle Howdy (Bo Dallas), Nikki Cross, Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy & Dexter Lumis. The four men all had their faces covered while Cross had scary makeup.

There were many people laid out in the backstage area including indy wrestlers dressed as security. The most notable Raw star that was “taken out” by the group was Chad Gable, who had blood on his forehead while looking like he was knocked out.

Sami Zayn, the Intercontinental Champion, was not in a match on Raw, but he did have a promo segment with Bron Breakker and Sheamus. Zayn was also ringside for the Breakker-Sheamus match that ended in a disqualification when Ludwig Kaiser attacked Sheamus. Breakker and Zayn had a staredown before they were separated.

During an interview with Blake Murphy of Sportsnet, Zayn said he left after his segment, so he wasn’t around when the Wyatt Sicks group did their attack and reveal.

“Yeah, so, I actually didn’t even know that happened because I left the arena right after my thing was done. So, maybe five or ten minutes before all that stuff happened on Monday Night Raw, I had no idea and I left the arena and I didn’t look at the results of what happened or anything.”

“Then, I get to my hotel and I tweet out the presale code for my comedy show and all of the replies from the fans are like, ‘Your co-workers have been killed, what are you doing tweeting out the comedy show?’”
