WWE Raw Attack Spells The End For One Star
A surprise attack on WWE Raw could signal the end of one star’s time on TV with the company.
Karrion Kross’ mind games may have caused seemingly never-ending trouble in The New Day and The Miz betraying R-Truth to end their partnership but it looks like Kross could have major issues to face.
The Authors of Pain were accompanied to the ring on Raw by Karrion Kross, The Miz, Scarlett, and Paul Ellering for their match against The New Day on Raw. R-Truth attacked The Miz causing enough of a distraction for The New Day to win but the entire Final Testament took out Truth after the match.
The lights went out in the arena and when they came back on the Wyatt Sicks struck, wiping out the entire Final Testament. Uncle Howdy aimed an attack on The Miz but he was saved by Paul Ellering who in turn suffered the Mandible Claw.
And it seems that might be it for the former Road Warriors’ manager on WWE TV.
Paul Ellering Written Off WWE TV On Raw?
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer noted that following the attack on Ellering, he believes he could be done with WWE:
I don’t know this but I got the impression watching the show that maybe Ellering is done.
[…] He’s gotta be gone for a while. I don’t think he adds anything. I think the whole idea with him is somebody had in their head that we want these guys to be the Road Warriors so to make them the Road Warriors we’ll put Paul Ellering with him but he just stands there.
He barely talks, Kross does most of the talking, he never interferes. He’s 70 years old, maybe older. All that travel and everything at that age – that can’t be easy at that age, it’s a drag. It felt watching it, it was his swansong but I don’t know that to be a fact.
