WWE Pull Bayley From WrestleMania At Last Minute
Bayley looks set to miss out on WrestleMania after being pulled from her title match, but a very familiar replacement might be on hand.
Bayley has been set to team with Lyra Valkryia at WrestleMania 41 and challenge Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. But that no longer looks like the case.
WWE has shared footage from backstage showing Lyra Valkyria coming across Bayley, who had suffered an apparent backstage attack. Morgan and Rodriguez were on hand but claimed to have just arrived at the venue. Raw General Manager Adam Pearce seemed doubtful about them being behind the attack but might want to remember they were key suspects in the attack on Jade Cargill at the end of 2024 as well, and ended up being vindicated of any guilt.
Bayley Set To Be Replaced By Becky Lynch?
Nevertheless, Pearce told a upset Valkyria that if she wanted a title match at WrestleMania then she had 24 hours to find a new partner with the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title match set to take place on Sunday night. Some might find that ultimatum slightly strange as Valkyria is the current WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion and could well have defended that title instead on the grandest stage of them all.

Many fans already think they’ve worked out WWE’s plan, however, and it seems the stage could well be set for Becky Lynch to make her long-awaited return to the company.
Lynch and Valkyria share an Irish connection, and Valkyria previously defeated the man to become NXT Women’s Champion. What this means for Bayley seems to be less clear.
