WWE Producer Reveals Truth About Beef With Triple H & Stephanie McMahon
A WWE executive has discussed reports about their alleged feud with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
Bruce Prichard has had multiple stints in the Stamford promotion, his most recent commencing in 2018, when he returned to work under Hunter.
Reports about his fallout with the power couple began taking shape when Stephanie McMahon released him in late 2008.
At the time, Stephanie was pregnant with her second child. When she stepped away, the responsibility of approving things fell on Prichard.
By the time she returned, Prichard had become the go-to guy for the staff, talent, and Vince McMahon himself.
Stephanie apparently found it disconcerting that people were bypassing her.
Another incident involved a gun rumor, which stated that Prichard was fired from WWE for pulling a gun on writers.
However, he revealed that he was forced to carry his gun to work one morning as Hurricane Ike had hit League City, Texas, and he did not want to leave his weapon behind.
The word got to Stephanie McMahon, who confronted him for bringing his gun to work. Despite clearing the misunderstanding, she asked him to leave.
Bruce Prichard Shuts Down Feud Rumors With WWE’s Triple H & Stephanie McMahon
During a recent episode of the Something to Wrestle podcast, Bruce Prichard revealed the story about his WWE return, where he also shut down reports of a feud with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon.
He stated that while some reports of disagreement or ‘drama’ may be true, they were the result of emotions and circumstance and not animosity.
And with Steph, when you’re in the moment, you have feelings and emotions. You’re angry, you’re upset, until you look in the mirror and go, ‘Okay, I could have done better. I could have done things differently.
With Hunter, I worked with Paul when he was a talent. I never really worked with him creatively until this stint. I never had an issue with him.
So any perceived hard feelings—I don’t know where that ever came from, because there weren’t any. People want to create animosity that simply isn’t there because they’ve never been in that role. [H/T: Ringside News]
