WWE President Nick Khan Promises More Netflix Content

WWE and Netflix’s partnership looks to be keeping everybody happy as Nick Khan teases more content to come in 2025.

WWE debuted on Netflix on January 6 as Monday Night Raw found its new home. Around the world, WWE Networks closed down as all content moved to the streaming giant in many markets.

In the US, NXT is shown on The CW Network while SmackDown remains on the USA Network but they could also move to Netflix permanently when their current deals end but that won’t be for a few years yet.

But that doesn’t mean Netflix isn’t getting more WWE content very soon.

Netflix Getting More WWE Content Says Nick Khan

Speaking on the TKO 2024 earnings call, Nick Khan was asked about the potential of more WWE programming coming to Netflix and it seems more is on the way:

All we’ve seen from Netflix is an appetite for more WWE. They’ve been phenomenal to deal with. They’ve promoted us in a way we hoped we would be promoted, even more so than we had hoped.

The appetite by Netflix to have additional ancillary programming, we announced a few weeks ago, we’re doing a WWE behind the scenes show with Netflix, which will come out later this year. Assume there is more cooking in the pipeline.

Despite suggestions the company could have more adult themes when it moved homes, it seems Netflix is taking a hardline with WWE over its content.
