WWE Makes Presentation Changes On SmackDown In Perth
There was a noticeable change for one wrestler on WWE SmackDown in Perth, and further changes may be on the way.
The Sami Zayn US Title open challenge took place on WWE SmackDown in Perth. The man to answer the call was former US Champion Shinsuke Nakamura, who was out of the ring for months, but also lurking in the background on SmackDown in recent weeks.
As Nakamaura made his entrance, there was a noticeable change in his presentation. His old WWE theme song from 2016 was back. The music may have changed because Nakamura is back to being a babyface after a few years as a heel.
Nakamura and Zayn would go on to have a great match that ended prematurely when Solo Sikoa and My Family Tree attacked Nakamura for the DQ finish, so there was no winner.
WWE Changing Theme Songs Could Be Because Of Wrestlers Calling For Change
It was reported by Wrestlevotes on X that the music changes may have been a result of some wrestlers being outspoken about it.
As seen & heard on tonight’s SmackDown, a few superstars reverted back to their original entrance themes. Source indicate several superstars have been requesting music changes for some time now, including outspoken names such as Sheamus & Drew McIntyre. Time will tell if all those requests are eventually granted.

In the case of Sheamus, his old theme song, “Written in my Face,” is beloved by many fans who like to mess up the lyrics by saying “lobster head” and “too many limes,” among other things.
Regarding McIntyre, his classic theme song, “Broken Dreams,” was considered one of the best from the 2010s era. Both guys have walked out to those songs in recent years, but they haven’t used them as regular theme songs in many years.
