WWE Power Struggle Between Triple H & The Rock Allegedly Real

A former WWE star has doubled down that the power struggle between The Rock and Triple H is very real.

Rumours have run wild for years that Triple H and The Rock are not exactly best of friends despite being on-screen rivals. The Rock’s relationship with Triple H’s best friend, Shawn Michaels, was notoriously poor, and that might have clouded things between himself and The Game.

Professional jealousy may have played a part as The Rock ascended to superstar status and made his fortune in Hollywood while Triple H stayed firmly in the wrestling ring. Triple H might have thought he had the last laugh; however, when he ascended to become WWE Chief Content Officer, driving the creative direction of the company as Vince McMahon’s successor.

Pride, therefore, might have been dented when The Rock was appointed to TKO’s Board of Directors in early 2024, putting him above Triple H in the company’s food chain.

Suggestions of the two men rubbing each other the wrong way have continued, and now former WWE star Jonathan Coachman has taken to social media to make his claim that alleged issues between the two stars are very real:

Thank you for the response. Here is what you are missing. Most members of boards are there for their business acumen. Rock was asked to be on the board for so many other reasons. Not to mention he is 1 of the 3 best performers of all time. And his right hand was once the lead writer for Raw and I believe wants that job again. I sublet my first apartment from him as a side note.

You have to understand I was in the room several times and know first hand the REAL relationship between Rock and HHH. They don’t get along. Period. If they did Rock would have supported this year all along the way. He hasn’t. Not ONE social media post. You all have to stop not looking at what’s really going on. The struggle for power is real.
