WWE Making Surprising Plans For Bron Breakker’s WrestleMania Debut

Bron Breakker WWE Intercontinental Champion

Bron Breakker is the current WWE Intercontinental Champion and it seems the company are already making plans for his first WrestleMania.

Bron Breakker has been WWE’s breakout star of 2024, graduating to the main roster and winning the Intercontinental Championship twice and looking increasingly dominant in the ring.

Breakker has had recent run-ins with The Judgment Day as well as AJ Styles and it seems, WWE could be working in multiple opponents for the former NXT Champion’s WrestleMania 41 match.

Bron Breakker Facing Multiple WWE Stars At WrestleMania?

Speaking on the Backstage Pass podcast, WrestleVotes noted that WWE’s plans for Bron Breakker’s debut WrestleMania won’t involve him in a traditional one-on-one match:

They’re tossing around a multi-man, as has become tradition at WrestleMania, whether it be the Intercontinental Title or Tag Team Titles last year.

I’d be surprised if it wasn’t a multi-man type of match. Not saying there’s going to be a ladder involved, don’t know if that’s the direction they’re going, but I doubt it’s Bron Breakker vs. ‘X’ in a one-on-one match.

While many fans might think that the Intercontinental Championship has become WWE’s go to for multi man spectaculars at WrestleMania, the last time it was defended on the grandest stage of them all in anything other than a one-on-one or triple threat match was at WrestleMania 32 in 2016. On that occasion, Zack Ryder shocked the crowd when he climbed the ladder and won the title.
