WWE is reportedly planning for Nikki Bella to take part in Evolution II.

At Saturday Night’s Main Event, the company announced that the women-only event will return for the first time since 2018 and is scheduled for July.

The inaugural Evolution received praise from viewers and critics, but despite that, it was never followed up. It saw some of the current and past female superstars compete in various matches, including a Battle Royal.

Becky Lynch, Toni Storm, and Charlotte Flair were some of the show-stealers of the October 2018 event.

Bella was last seen in active competition during the 2025 Women’s Royal Rumble match, appearing as the #30 participant. The WWE Hall of Famer has been one of the top stars for the company, and according to Bodyslam’s Cody Hays, she is “factored into plans for Evolution.”

While Nikki achieved massive success with WWE, she was dealing with a serious neck injury between 2014 and 2015, which sidelined her for about 10 months. Ever since, her appearances became part-time and later, sporadic.

Nikki Bella refused to confirm her return at WWE Evolution II

Bella also recently commented about having a “really big announcement,” resulting in speculations about her return at Evolution II.

The former Divas Champion was quick to shut down related reports on her Nikki & Brie podcast, offering clarification.

I did not confirm the Evolution pay-per-view. The thing I was saying that I was going to be part of in July — I just need to kill this because I see it everywhere. I’m in a movie. I can’t announce it yet but it’s a movie that I’m in in July.

I didn’t want to say the movie part, but now I feel like I have to say it because everyone thinks I’m confirming Evolution.

Nikki’s twin sister, WWE Hall of Famer Brie Bella, has also recently teased returning to the squared circle alongside the former two-time Divas Champion.
