WWE Personality Defends Triple H After Controversial On-Air Moment
Triple H brought back Brock Lesnar to WWE at SummerSlam 2025.
When The Beast’s music hit, the fans went berserk. Whether anyone wanted him to return or not, Lesnar’s return will always be a legendary moment.
During the post-show conference, The Game let the fans know that since they wanted him, they got him. However, there was a slight misunderstanding.
Triple H did not hear what the fans were chanting
During an episode of Notsam Wrestling, a fan questioned why Triple H mentioned Brock Lesnar when fans were chanting Karrion Kross, and whether it had to do with Kross’ release, which hadn’t happened then, but as of writing this, it’s official.
Sam Roberts explained that it seems more of a misunderstanding rather than something The Game did intentionally.
As far as that Triple H thing goes, if you listen to the clip, it’s Peter Rosenberg who first says, “You got him.” And then Triple H says, “Yeah, you want him, you got him.” So Peter Rosenberg’s not in on the work. That’s not how this works. So, like I have, I believe fully that sitting out there on that podium, Triple H with earbuds in because he’s listening to producers, everybody on that podium has their ears blocked.
Thought they were saying ‘we want Brock’ because Peter also thought they were saying ‘we want Brock’ and acknowledged it. So once Peter says, “Yeah, oh, oh, they’re, is that what they’re chanting?” Okay, yeah, you got Brock. So I, you know, I don’t think. They put Karrion Kross on SummerSlam. They promoted his book on the pre-show. I don’t think that you do those two things if you’re trying to pretend he doesn’t exist on the post-show.
If you don’t want Karrion Kross to exist on the post-show, don’t put him on the pre-show and the main show. So the idea that that was not just a misunderstanding to me is illogical. It doesn’t, it can’t make sense unless you’re being, you know, speculating conspiratorial, and that’s all fine and fun, but it doesn’t otherwise make sense.
Karrion Kross and Scarlett’s WWE profiles have been moved to the alumni section.
