WWE Performance Center Taking In New Group Of Athletes

WWE Performance Center

It would appear that there are new stars set to be heading to the WWE Performance Center for training this Spring.

WWE’s Next In Line programme is used to provide a pathway for those outside of the industry to take their first steps in to sports entertainment. Whilst this is no doubt not an easy task, the fact there such a pathway has provided multiple opportunities. A new intake was confirmed in January 2023.

TikTok stars The Cavinder Twins were confirmed as part of the December 2021 intake of the programme. The pair are also NCAA Division I basketball stars, and have over 600,000 followers each on Instagram.

In a discussion with The Street, the agent for The Cavinder Twins, Jeff Hoffman of Everett Sports Marketing, discussed how the pair will be attending the WWE Performance Center in the Spring as part of their wrestling journey.

The potential – what could be – I think they’d be excited if that type of opportunity presented itself for them to be main features in the WWE. WWE fans provide such positive comments, feedback, and energy to the twins.

The WWE, they have a very specific training process – They don’t just fit people into storylines and say, ‘Here you go’. The twins are D1 athletes, they’re extremely fit, healthy, exercise constantly, but there’s also a process through the training to make sure you understand not only movements but safety.

It was also hinted that the pair had not signed full-time deals with WWE at this stage, although the fact they have announced they are stepping away from college athletics could be an indication to their future.
