WWE Announces New “Long-Term Partnership” With Major European Soccer Team
WWE has wrapped up another “strategic partnership.”
In 2025, WWE rarely misses an opportunity to form lucrative partnership and sponsorship deals, and that’s continued with Clash In Paris just around the corner.
It’s been announced that the company has secured a new deal with the French soccer team Paris Saint-Germain.
PSG are the current European Champions after dismantling Inter Milan in the final back in May. That victory capped off an incredible season where the club won the Trophée des Champions, Coupe de France, and the French league title for the fourth consecutive year.
That momentum has continued into the 2025-2026 season, where PSG have already won the European Super Cup and remain undefeated in the French league standings.
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp shared news of the new partnership on social media.
WWE and Paris Saint-Germain have announced a long-term strategic collaboration including original content development, exclusive merchandise and retail collaborations, fan engagement initiatives, community-focused programs, and unique interactions between PSG players and WWE Superstars.
WWE Preparing For Clash In Paris
The announcement comes just days before WWE takes Clash In Paris to the Paris La Défense Arena. To date, just five matches have been confirmed for the event, but several of WWE’s biggest names will be in action.
This includes a huge Fatal-Four-Way Match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Meanwhile, Becky Lynch will put her Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line against Hall of Famer Nikki Bella.
Lynch and WWE recently found themselves in hot water in the lead-up to the match after the Irish star referenced the death of Ozzy Osbourne during an episode of Raw in the legend’s hometown of Birmingham, England.
Also at the event, Roman Reigns will meet Bronson Reed in only his second singles match, and fourth match total of 2025.
