WWE Offer Contracts To Current NJPW Champions
WWE is on the hunt for new talent, and it seems they want a pair of champions in New Japan Pro Wrestling.
WWE never seems to tire in its hunt for new talent and currently has several stars who formerly competed in New Japan Pro Wrestling, not least Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, JC Mateo, and Talla Tonga, who, alongside Solo Sikoa, make up the MFT group.
But it seems WWE have another 2 NJPW stars they want to bring in as well.
WWE Offers Deals To IWGP Tag Team Champions
Speaking on the Self Made Session on YouTube, Self Made Pro claimed that WWE have made an approach for the current IWGP Tag Team Champions:
A source close to the situation claims that WWE has offered a contract to both Yuto-Ice and OSKAR, NJPW’s current IWGP Tag Team Champions. The Knock Out Brothers have turned heads and grabbed the attention of WWE scouts as the promotion is said to be looking to bolster their tag ranks.
Currently, Yuto-Ice and OSKAR are not scheduled to defend their IWGP Tag Team Championship at Wrestle Kingdom 20. Instead, they will be part of a Tornado Ranbo for the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Championship alongside Clark Connors.
Andrade El Idolo will return to an NJPW ring at Wrestle Kingdom after he shockingly aligned with one faction. That show will also see the final match in the legendary career of Hiroshi Tanahashi as he takes on his old rival, Kazuchika Okada.
