WWE NXT Spoilers For December 31st

A new episode of WWE NXT will air on New Year’s Eve with Ethan Page featured in one of the big matches on the show.

The WWE NXT brand isn’t taking a break during the holiday season even though Tuesday night falls on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve this year.

NXT was on the road for this week’s TV episode from Lowell, Massachusetts and after that show, they taped the Christmas Eve episode of NXT as well.

Ethan Page was involved heavily on NXT TV in Lowell when he was out in the ring talking about how hard he worked to provide for his family. Page had been down in the dumps for several weeks due to some tough losses that might seem uncharacteristic for a former NXT Champion like him.

Je’Von Evans is one of the most popular young stars on the NXT brand and he interrupted Page’s promo. Evans was kind to Page by pointing out how it was obvious how much Page loved his family and Page was a respected veteran with nearly two decades of experience in pro wrestling. While Page seemed to accept Je’Von’s words, Page also reacted to it by hitting Evans with the microphone. Page went on to beat up Evans and stomped on a chair that was around Evans’ neck, which caused Evans to bleed from the mouth.

The brutal attack by Page will likely lead to Evans coming back to get some revenge on Page, but it may be a few weeks or months until that happens.

Who Won On NXT New Year’s Eve?

There was a NXT taping at the WWE Performance Center on December 19th for matches that will air on December 31st. Thanks to Fightful for the spoilers below.

• Kelani Jordan defeated Lola Vice. After the match, Cora Jade attempted to attack Lola Vice with a kendo stick, which led to Stephanie Vaquer making the save.
• Ethan Page defeated Cedric Alexander
• Lash Legend & Jakara Jackson defeated Shotzi & Gigi Dolin and Kayden Carter & Katana Chance
• Izzi Dame defeated Sol Ruca
• Wes Lee, Tyson Dupont & Tyriek Igwe defeated Andre Chase, Hank Walker & Tank Ledger
• NXT Male Superstar Of The Year segment

Details were not provided for the NXT Male Superstar of the Year segment. The four men nominated for NXT Male Superstar of the Year are Trick Williams, Tony D’Angelo, Oba Femi, and Ethan Page.
