WWE NXT Pulled From Streaming App

WWE NXT Triple H Shawn Michaels

There has been a change for WWE fans looking to access the NXT archives.

The WWE NXT brand found a new home this week as WWE Hall of Famers and executives Shawn Michaels and Paul “Triple H” Levesque welcomed fans to the new era on the CW Network in the United States.

A new silver and black logo appeared as a replacement for the more classic black & gold color scheme that existed for NXT for most of its 12-year run.

For fans of NXT and the talent, the move to CW is an exciting one since it’s a bigger network than USA Network, which is where NXT was for the previous five years. Prior to the CW move taking place, previous episodes of NXT dating back to 2012 were available to watch on Peacock for users in the United States. However, following the CW debut, those NXT episodes have been removed and it’s unknown where they will be for fans in the US.

The NXT Premium Live Events, including all previous NXT TakeOvers, remain available to view on Peacock. That’s because of WWE’s existing deal for PLE/PPV live events. That license does not expire until February 2026.

Meanwhile, the archived episodes of WWE NXT are still available on the WWE Network internationally.

New NXT Champion Crowned During Debut Episode On CW

In the main event of NXT on CW from Chicago, Trick Williams regained the NXT Championship from Ethan Page in a match where CM Punk was the referee. After the match, Page argued with Punk so Punk hit Page with a GTS (Go To Sleep) knee to the face.

Meanwhile, Roxanne Perez defeated Giulia to keep the NXT Women’s Title thanks to an assist from Cora Jade, who did a cheap attack on Giulia that helped Perez retain her title.

On the October 8th episode of NXT from St. Louis, WWE legend Randy Orton competes in his hometown against Je’Von Evans while Oba Femi will put his NXT North American Title on the line against Tony D’Angelo one more time. Femi recently broke the record for the longest North American Title reign in WWE history.
