WWE NXT Heatwave 2025 Results

WWE NXT Heatwave

The WWE NXT brand presented Heatwave with Oba Femi defending the NXT Title against Je’Von Evans.

This is a results post for the WWE NXT Heatwave PLE.

I will write a more detailed TJR review on Monday morning, most likely. I don’t have the time and energy to do it tonight after doing a 4.5-hour AEW Forbidden Door review earlier in the day.

They were at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium in Lowell, Massachusetts.

The commentary team was Vic Joseph and Booker T. No Corey Graves at the show because he’s in England for Raw on Monday.

Match #1: NXT Women’s Championship #1 Contender’s Match – Lola Vice defeated Jaida Parker and Kelani Jordan by pinfall. After Parker hit Jordan with Hipnotic, Vice rolled up Parker and put her body on top for the pinfall win.

Lola Vice will challenge for the NXT Women’s Title at No Mercy on September 27th.

Match #2: NXT Tag Team Championships: Darkstate – Dion Lennox & Osiris Griffin (w/Saquon Shugars & Cutler James) defeated Hank Walker & Tank Ledger to win the NXT Tag Team Titles. Lennox & Griffin hit a Doomsday Device top rope clothesline for the win.

Match #3: Ash by Elegance (with Heather by Elegance, M by Elegance, and The Personal Concierge) defeated Jacy Jayne (with Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx) and Masha Slamovich by pinfall to win the TNA Knockouts Championship.

The referee ejected Henley and Nyx from ringside after he saw Nyx hit Ash with a forearm. Jayne hit the Rolling Encore on Masha. When Jayne covered, Heather and M pulled Jayne off the cover. There are no disqualifications in a triple threat. Ash hit a Swanton Bomb off the top called Rarefied Air, and she covered Masha for the pinfall. TNA President Carlos Silva was applauding at ringside.

It is the first TNA Knockouts Championship win for Ash By Elegance, who wrestled in WWE for about a decade as Dana Brooke.

Ricky Saints talked to Je’Von Evans backstage. Evans admitted he was sore, but he’s leaving as NXT Champion. Ricky told Evans he believed in him, and Ricky also teased that he was coming for the NXT Title as well.

The NXT Halloween Havoc PLE will take place on Saturday, October 25th, in Prescott Valley, Arizona.

Match #4: Blake Monroe defeated Jordynne Grace by pinfall. They did a spot near the turnbuckle where the pad was off, and Blake stomped Grace’s head into the steel. Blake hit a double arm DDT for the pinfall win.

Lash Legend confronted Jaida Parker backstage, and Lash said she was going to be the woman to win the NXT Women’s Title. Lash and Jaida argued until they were separated.

The NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne was interviewed by Sarah Schreiber. Jayne complained about Jazmyn Nyx for messing up. Fallon Henley told Jayne not to look at her. Lola Vice teased that she would beat Jayne for her title. Sol Ruca and Zaria gloated about how Sol is the only double champion in NXT.

It was announced that NXT Homecoming will take place on Tuesday, September 16th, at Full Sail University in Orlando, which is the old home of NXT.

Match #5: Ethan Page and Chelsea Green (with Alba Fyre and Piper Niven) defeated Tavion Heights and Tyra Mae Steele by pinfall. The fans were booing Steel and Heights even though they were babyfaces. Steele hit a German Suplex on Page. While Heights was punching Page in the ring, Fyre superkicked Steele while the referee wasn’t looking. Green hit Unpretty-her on Steele for the pinfall win.

The NXT Champion Oba Femi was getting ready backstage. Josh Briggs said that tonight, he thinks that Femi’s reign will end. Briggs said he believes the grind is wearing Femi down. Femi didn’t care about Briggs’ insignificant opinion. Briggs said he’s next in line.

Ava, the NXT GM, was interviewed by Sarah Schreiber. Ava said that she is bringing the Men’s and Women’s WWE Speed titles to NXT. Ava said that Sol will defend the Speed Title against a tournament winner at No Mercy.

This Tuesday on NXT:

* Fatal Influence vs. Zaria, Sol Ruca & Lola Vice

* Blindfold Match: Myles Borne vs. Lexis King

* Izzi Dame & Tatum Paxley vs. Wren Sinclair & ???

What Happened In The WWE NXT Heatwave Main Event?

Match #6: Oba Femi defeated Je’Von Evans by pinfall to retain the NXT Championship.

There was a controversial finish where Evans hit a Cutter off the top rope. Referee Derek Sanders counted the three count, but the original referee, Adrian Butler, was back up and saw that Femi’s foot was under the bottom rope. Referee Butler said that the match will continue. Femi picked up Evans and tossed him over the top and through the commentary table. Femi hit the Fall From Grace (Popup Powerbomb) for the pinfall win.

Oba Femi celebrated with the NXT Title.

Ricky Saints made his entrance and confronted Oba Femi in the ring. Femi held up the NXT Title. Ricky said that the NXT Title is going to be his. Femi told Ricky he was just another guy.

The show ended at 9:22 p.m. ET, so it was 2 hours and 22 minutes long.
