WWE NXT Announces Match of the Year on Final Episode

One of the most anticipated NXT episodes of the year saw the brand announce the Year-End awards for 2025 after yet another spectacular year for the black and silver brand.

Two major awards have already been handed out on the show tonight as Je’Von Evans was revealed as the Male Superstar of the Year, while ZaRuca were named the Tag Team of the Year.

The next category was for the Match of the Year, which featured some amazing contenders, including the recent NXT Women’s Iron Survivor match, which saw Kendal Grey emerge victorious.

NXT Championship match named best match of the year

The NXT Championship has been defended on various occasions during this past year, but one match in particular caught the fans’ eye as they voted the title clash at Stand and Deliver to be the Match of the Year.

The match saw Oba Femi retain his title against Je’Von Evans and Trick Williams. The triple threat match ended as Oba hit a Fall From Grace on both wrestlers to get the pin.
