WWE: Nikki Bella Says Neck Injury Will Lead To Time Off After WrestleMania 33

Nikki Bella, former WWE Divas Champion, recently confirmed in an interview that she will be taking time off from WWE after her mixed tag team match this Sunday, April 2 at WrestleMania 33. Nikki will be teaming with her boyfriend John Cena to take on the team of The Miz and his wife Maryse.

Nikki said the reason she will be taking time off is to heal her neck. Nikki underwent career threatening neck surgery last year. The surgery was a success and she worked hard to return to WWE. However, she now has a slight herniation in her neck and doesn’t want to irritate it to the point where she needs surgery again.

Nikki also mentions that Cena will be taking time off after WrestleMania 33 as well because he will be filming a movie titled, The Pact.
