WWE News: Smackdown Men’s Team Announced for Survivor Series – Updated Lineup
The men’s Smackdown team has been announced for WWE Survivor Series on November 24. The five man team representing Smackdown will be team captain Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, “King” Baron Corbin, Shorty G and Mustafa Ali. That means they have four faces, plus Corbin as the only heel.
That means the men’s 5 on 5 Elimination Match looks like this: Team Raw (Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, Drew McIntyre and Ricochet) vs. Team Smackdown (Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, “King” Baron Corbin, Shorty G and Mustafa Ali) vs. Team NXT
We might find out Team NXT during tonight’s edition of NXT on USA Network.
Here’s the updated lineup.
WWE Championship: Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Rey Mysterio
Men’s Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Match: Team Raw (Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, Drew McIntyre and Ricochet) vs. Team Smackdown (Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, “King” Baron Corbin, Shorty G and Mustafa Ali) vs. Team NXT
Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch vs. Smackdown Women’s Champion Bayley vs. NXT Women’s Champion Shayna Baszler
United States Champion AJ Styles vs. Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura vs. NXT North American Champion Roderick Strong
Raw Tag Team Champions Viking Raiders (Erik and Ivar) vs. Smackdown Tag Team Champions The New Day (Xavier Woods and Big E) vs. NXT Tag Team Champions The Undisputed Era (Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish)
Women’s Traditional 5-on-5 Survivor Series Elimination Match: Team Raw vs. Team Smackdown (Sasha Banks, Carmella, Dana Brooke) vs. Team NXT
What Else?
I assume we’ll get “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt defending the Universal Title against Daniel Bryan as well since Wyatt attacked Bryan last week on Smackdown.
A match between Rusev and Bobby Lashley makes a lot of sense especially since neither guy is on Team Raw. We don’t know if they will have regular singles matches on the show.
Survivor Series takes place on Sunday, Nov. 24, at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT, streaming live on the award-winning WWE Network.
