WWE News: Raw Women’s Title Match Announced for SummerSlam, Other Likely Matches, John Cena Wrestles Dark Match After Raw

There is one official match for WWE SummerSlam right now. It was announced on last night’s Raw that Nikki A.S.H. (Cross) will defend the Raw Women’s Championship against two former champions Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley in a triple threat match. Charlotte pinned Nikki in a non-title main event of Raw last night.

Other likely matches for SummerSlam based on current booking include:

WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns vs. John Cena

WWE Championship: Bobby Lashley vs. Bill Goldberg

Seth Rollins vs. Edge

Jinder Mahal vs. Drew McIntyre

Raw Tag Team Championships: AJ Styles & Omos vs. Randy Orton & Riddle

United States Championship: Sheamus vs. Damian Priest

TJR Thoughts: Some of those matches could be pushed to TV feuds like Sheamus/Priest, but I think the others will be on the SummerSlam card. I also have a feeling that they will do Bianca Belair vs. Sasha Banks in a WrestleMania rematch. Banks hasn’t been on TV since WrestleMania, so I am unsure when she will be back. I just think it makes sense to do the rematch. There are also Becky Lynch return rumors, so we’ll see what happens on Smackdown over the next month.

John Cena Wrestles After Raw

John Cena was at Raw last night in Kansas City, but he did not appear on television during the three-hour broadcast.

The dark match on Raw last night was John Cena & Riddle defeating Mace & T-Bar to send the fans home happy.
