WWE News: Jason Jordan Undergoes Neck Surgery, Wife Calls it a “Minor Neck Injury”
There have been a lot of rumors about former WWE Raw Tag Team Champion Jason Jordan’s health status in the last few weeks. Jordan has been off from wrestling at live events for a few weeks due to a neck injury. During the Raw Tag Team Title Match at the Royal Rumble, he was not a part of the match in terms of going in the ring because they did an injury angle with him while Seth Rollins lost the titles to Sheamus & Cesaro. All we really knew is that Jordan had some kind of neck issue.
It was reported by the Wrestling Observer that it may be serious, but apparently, Jordan’s wife disagrees with that. I’ll get that to momentarily. But first, here’s an update from WWE.com, who wrote about Jordan undergoing neck surgery today.
Raw Superstar Jason Jordan underwent successful surgery this morning to repair a neck injury, WWE.com can confirm.
“He had an injury to a disc in his neck which resulted in significant pain that was refractory to all conservative measures,” WWE Medical Director Dr. Joseph Maroon said. “It was decided to do a minimally invasive operation to decompress the nerve, to allow it to heal.”
The procedure Jordan underwent is called a minimally invasive posterior cervical microdiscectomy. It is not known just how long Jordan will be out of action.
As you can see there, no timeline was given for how long he ‘s going to be out of action. Since Dr. Maroon said it was a “minimally invasive operation” that sounds a lot better than something more significant.
Jordan’s wife, April Everhart (his real name is Natahan Everhart), posted on Instagram and Facebook that he’s got a minor neck injury.

Good luck to Jason in his recovery.
