WWE Introduces New Rule Regarding Injuries
There could well be a new directive for WWE Superstars regarding injuries handed down by the company’s management.
For as long as social media has existed, wrestlers have used the medium to share the damage done to them from competing in the ring. Finn Balor shared images of himself following his bloody Hell In A Cell match at WrestleMania 39 against Edge that led to the Irish star requiring 14 staples and spawning a new t-shirt but could such things now be of the past in WWE?
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez noted that there appears to be a new rule in WWE regarding injuries and couldn’t help but poke fun at the uproar surrounding Britt Baker’s AEW t-shirt that features her with a black eye following the attack by The Outcasts:
“Apparently there’s a new rule that WWE talent are not allowed to take pictures of their injuries and there is an absolute (rule) that you are not allowed to take any pictures of any blood whatsoever. I guess they don’t want anyone to be making shirts or something like that with their image.”
Baker suffered the black eye after Saraya took her apart with a Kendo stick given to her by Chris Jericho after Jericho and Daniel Garcia had handcuffed Baker’s boyfriend Adam Cole to the ring ropes on Dynamite. Baker shared a photo of the black eye she suffered with Saraya’s group apparently being behind the t-shirt to try and troll the AEW Women’s Champion.
