WWE Net Eye-Watering WrestleMania 41 Payday
It’s Viva Las Vegas for WWE in 2025 as WrestleMania 41 heads to Nevada and now it’s been revealed just how much WWE is raking in for the event.
After months of speculation, WWE finally announced that WrestleMania 41 will be held in Las Vegas on April 19th and 20th 2025. The spectacular will take place at Allegiant Stadium, which also hosted SummerSlam back in 2021.
It was initially believed Minneapolis, Minnesota was the frontrunner, but as more time passed, Vegas became the heavy favourite to land the event. The announcement means WrestleMania 41 will take place across Easter weekend — something WWE usually tries to avoid. However, Nick Khan revealed that WWE was looking to move dates for its showpiece event before the announcement was made.
WWE Net $5 Million For WrestleMania 41
Now 8 News Now has issued a report on Las Vegas hosting WrestleMania and the details might explain why WWE ended up deciding on Sin City as their host. The report noted that the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority “approved $5 million for World Wrestling Entertainment to sponsor the event, which is expected to bring a massive influx of traffic to the Las Vegas Strip at a perennially slow time for the city.”
Lisa Motley, vice president of sports and special events for the LVCVA, noted what the event will mean just for Vegas hotels on a typically quiet weekend for them:
The dates of the event will occur over Easter weekend, which is a typically slow time for Las Vegas. We anticipate more than 180,000 WrestleMania fans will occupy 144,000 incremental room nights over that time period.
As well as WrestleMania itself, WWE World, Raw, and SmackDown are all expected to take place in the city which is also likely to be inundated with independent shows and events looking to make the most of the thousands of wrestling fans in town.
