WWE Negotiating With Huge Number Of Superstars
WWE is looking to lock in several Superstars.
On September 19th it was reported that WWE has finally offered Kevin Owens a new contract.
Back in August, Owens got fans talking when he revealed he revealed contract talks with the company were yet to begin. His comments were especially interesting as it’s been public knowledge for several months that his current deal expires in January 2025.
The news came after it was reported that Sheamus and Asuka had signed new deals.
WWE Looking To Sign Several Stars To New Contracts
Writing in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer stated that Sheamus had signed a five-year contract, adding the company is negotiating with at least 15 stars with contracts coming up soon.
Sheamus has signed a new five-year deal. As noted a few weeks ago, WWE had started to work on at least 15 new deals for talent whose contracts would be up over the next several months.
Meanwhile, the Lucha Bros are expected to sign with WWE — that’s if they haven’t already. The report added that the sports entertainment giant has been “given the green light” to produce “masks, t-shirts, and promotional material.”
The former AEW World Tag Team Champions are expected to debut on the main roster, instead of starting with NXT.
