WWE Money In The Bank Main Event Confirmed
What’s topping the card at WWE Money In The Bank?
Due to its popularity with fans, Money In The Bank has become one of WWE’s “big five” events, joining the Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, Survivor Series, and SummerSlam.
With two Money In The Bank Ladder Matches, the event guarantees intrigue, while injecting a level of suspense into the next twelve months — or until those famous contracts are cashed in by the winners.
In 2023, the men’s match was won by Damian Priest, who waited all the way until WrestleMania 40 to cash in, but he now stands as World Heavyweight Champion. Meanwhile, the women’s Ladder Match was won by Iyo Sky who successfully cashed in at SummerSlam.
As reported by Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the World Heavyweight Title match between Priest and Seth Rollins will headline the 2024 edition of the event. If Priest is defeated, he’ll not only lose the title but he’ll be forced to leave the Judgment Day. If Rollins loses, he’ll be unable to challenge for the championship again while Priest is the champion.
